
Church Leadership, Staff and Session
Our ministry teams works together to lead worship, support the congregation, and carry out the mission of the church. From pastoral care to administration and financial management, each role is essential to the life of First Presbyterian.

Rev. Macy Ruple
Rev. Macy Ruple leads the congregation with compassion, clarity, and a strong commitment to faith. She guides worship, offers pastoral care, and supports the church’s mission in the community. Her thoughtful leadership and genuine kindness are felt throughout the life of the church.

Amy Iverson
Amy Iverson serves as the Nursery Director. and Administrative Assistant. In her roles she supports staff, coordinates communication, manages schedules, and prepares materials for worship and church events. Her calm and friendly presence makes her an important part of the ministry team.

Paula Spriestersbach
Paula Spriestersbach serves as the church bookkeeper, managing finances with accuracy and care. She works closely with the Finance Team to keep all the books organized.
Staff
Nursery Lead and Attendants
The Nursery team provides a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for the church’s youngest members. Led by Amy Iverson and supported by Skilea Hall, Kemma Grider, and Jessica Toth, they ensure children are well cared for during services giving parents peace of mind and kids a good start, right from the beginning.
Organist
Noah Burch Freeman serves as Organist, providing musical leadership that supports worship and enhances the congregation’s experience. With a strong command of the organ and a respect for traditional sacred music.
Sunday Song Leader
Kelly Holden leads congregational singing each Sunday, guiding the church in music that is both welcoming and rooted in tradition. With a steady presence and a clear voice, Kelly helps bring the congregation together in worship
A/V Worship
Anne Binette oversees the audio and visual elements of worship, ensuring services run smoothly and are clearly seen and heard both in person and online. Her behind-the-scenes work keeps everything on track
House Keeping
Steve Bowler, Colleen Foda, and Connie Lovell. This team helps maintain a clean, welcoming, and well cared for church environment. Their consistent work ensures the building is ready for worship, meetings, and community gatherings, making hospitality felt the moment someone walks through the door.

Deacons
The Board of Deacons serves the congregation through care, compassion, and practical support. Deacons are elected by the church family to lead ministries of hospitality, connection, and service. Their work reflects the heart of our faith as they visit members, encourage those in need, and strengthen the life of the church through acts of kindness.
Deacons also serve in rotating classes. Each class represents a group of leaders who share their gifts during a three year term. Below are the current Deacon classes, all committed to supporting the congregation with steady presence and a spirit of service.

Session
The Session is the governing body of First Presbyterian Church and provides spiritual leadership, guidance, and care for the congregation. Our Ruling Elders are elected by the church family to serve in rotating classes. Each class represents a group of leaders who share their gifts during a three year term. Together, they support the mission, worship, education, and ministry of the church.
Each class reflects a commitment to faithful service and the shared responsibility of leading our church with wisdom, prayer, and steady purpose.
