Our Deacons run the Food Pantry, Christmas Basket Program, Care Packages to college and military, take flowers to sick and shut-in members, recruit people for coffee fellowships and brunches, and plan the annual church picnic in September. They are the worker bees of our church. They also sponsor the summer youth work program called Summer of Service. Deacons meet the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Board Room.

Deacons' Food Pantry
Our Deacons collect food monthly from church members and donations on the first Sunday of each month to meet the hunger needs of our community. They keep a well stocked food pantry and fill several orders every week.

Deacons' Christmas Baskets Being Loaded
Every Christmas our Deacons fund the church's 125 family adoptions for Christmas baskets. Actually that represents about 2 to 4 boxes of food per family in each "Christmas Basket." The church members turn out to load the boxes and help carry them out.
