Children ...

Narnia Vacation Bible School this Year! Aslan and the White Witch
Children are loved and treasured at First Presbyterian Church. Under the capable and loving direction of a fine nursery staff and various volunteer parents, we offer Children's Sermons in worship followed by Children's Sunday School during the rest of the worship service.

Nursery for all services and meetings
We have a fully staffed nursery to begin our children's journey of faith in a comfortable and loving way.

Welcome to Narnia

Children's Choir
Our Children's Choir sings several times a year. This choir practices on Sunday mornings, seasonally.

Growing Kids Through Golf Program
This past summer saw our second year of Growing Kids through golf. This was a week long VBS like program which trained young golfers and beginning golfers in the ethics, spirituality and form of good golf. Dates for this summer have already been set for July. Call Pastor Jimmy to sign up.

Children's Sunday School
Each Sunday during the school year our children come forward during the Children's Sermon time for a special message from one of our pastors. Then the children preschool through elementary school are dismissed to go to Sunday School. They complete their classes in time to meet their parents at the coffee fellowship or brunch that follows the first service.
Shining Stars once a month
Shining Stars is our youngest youth group that meets once a month for a junior youth group event. This group is directed by Nancy Boesdorfer and includes children ages four through fourth grade. BR>

Children's Sermon Time Every Sunday
Our Children gather each Sunday with Pastor Katie or Pastor Jimmy for a special sermon just for them. They always receive some special gift to remind them of the day. Then after a prayer they are dismissed to Sunday School. The older youth aged children serve as acolytes, taking turns each Sunday.
